Identify where the transfer stopped
- Open Binance withdrawal history and check the status, asset, network, address, and amount.
- No TxID yet: the transfer has probably not been broadcast. Read the restriction or error shown in Binance and contact Binance support if it does not clear.
- TxID exists but the chain is pending: wait for network confirmation. Congestion makes fixed minute estimates unreliable.
- The chain shows success but the recipient has not credited it: give the recipient platform the TxID, network, address, amount, and time.
- Wrong address, network, or memo/tag: do not send a second transfer. On-chain transactions are generally irreversible, and only the receiving party can assess recovery.
Common causes
- The sending and receiving networks do not match.
- The receiving platform requires more confirmations.
- A required memo or tag was omitted or entered incorrectly.
- Binance has temporarily paused withdrawals on that network.
- The account must complete an on-screen security or compliance check.
- The password was just changed. Binance states that withdrawals are suspended for 24 hours after a password change; this specific rule should not be generalized to every security-setting change.
Prepare before contacting support
- Binance UID and a screenshot of the withdrawal record.
- Asset, amount, network, and destination address.
- TxID, or the exact status and error if no TxID exists.
- Time of the attempt and whether it was made in the app or on the web.
Binance does not publish a universal 24-to-72-hour response guarantee for all withdrawal cases, so this article does not promise one.
Prevention
- Copy the address, network, and memo/tag from the recipient's current deposit page.
- Make a minimum permitted test transfer before a large transfer.
- Enable 2FA and use only the official app or website.
- Verify the complete destination address before submission.
- Save the TxID and records from both platforms.

FAQ
How long does a Binance withdrawal take?
There is no universal answer. Check whether a TxID exists, then check network confirmations and the recipient's crediting requirements.
Who handles a transaction that succeeded on-chain but is not credited?
Start with the receiving platform and provide the TxID, network, address, amount, and time.
Does every failed withdrawal automatically return?
No. A request rejected before broadcast may return to the available Binance balance. A transaction already confirmed on-chain cannot be described as automatically refundable.
